Young talented Arsenal Striker, Eduardo Da Silva - the boy from Brazil, agonised an awful injury (a broken leg) during the match Arsenal vs Birmingham city on the 23rd February 2008. He is one of the amazing and promising, emerging talent of Arsene Wenger’s young squad. This is a big big blow to both the team and to the man himself - Eduardo. If you’ve watched the match live, you would have seen how tragic and awful that incident was. Everyone on the stadium was horrified and stunned. Team mates started crying on the pitch; Hleb and Fabregas could not believe what they were seeing.
I invite you to watch that horrible scene and you will understand how bad that injury was (the video also contain some of his amazing goals):

(Kaka with his golden trophee)
25-yr old Kaka received 444 points in the France Football vote, ahead of Manchester United’s Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo who had 277 and Barcelona’s Argentinian midfielder Lionel Messi placing third with 255 points.
Some Facts About Kaka:
- Born under the name of Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite
- Born in the capital Brasilia, Kaka started off with Sao Paulo before moving to Europe with AC Milan in 2003
- He has been capped 54 times for his country and scored 19 goals
- He was in the Brazilian World Cup squads in 2002 and 2006
The prestigious title of Ballon d’Or was awarded on Sunday to AC Milan’s midfielder, Kaka. Most of us would argue that Ronaldo did far better recently than Kaka and hence deserved that title. But from my point of view both did equally well and I think that Kaka beats Ronaldo because of his sharp and precise goal scoring skills, something which Ronaldo needs to work on more.
But it’s really really a tough decision though since both of them are wonderful players.
So, what are your views? Do you think Kaka deserved that title for 2007? Is Ronaldo better than Kaka?
Cristiano vs Kaka - Ballon d’or 2007
As a football lover and an amateur football player, I have been watching Cesc Frabregas since his arrival to Arsenal till now. This player never fails to impress everyone of us football fans. His talent, skills and insights are just pure marvels. He scores in any angle and in the most wonderful manner you could imagine.
I believe Cesc Frabregas is yet to produce the best of himself although he is currently seemed as “The Most Complete Playmaker in the world within the age of 20!!!”. Can you think of this? He is an amazingly talented player whom I really appreciate, just as Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United.

Share This Article with your friends!Ryan Giggs and Kanchelskis were the two favorite wonderful wingers of Manchester United’s Manager. Kanchelskis played a crucial role in Sir Alex Ferguson’s first double side in 1994. Ryan Giggs, who was the youngest talent revealed by Sir Alex himself, still remains the evergreen left winger (we cannot forget his all time best FA Cup goal). He has contributed so much and is still contributing his full best for Man Utd.
But no player remains forever and retirement is looming near Giggs. To find an answer to this, Sir Alex has acquired Nani. He is referred as the new Giggs, but most of us see him as the 2nd Ronaldo in Man Utd
This reminds me when C.Ronaldo came to fill the gap left by the sad departure of David Beckham, the spice boy as they name him. Ronaldo has been a perfect match for the number 7 shirt on his arrival, a shirt number that has belonged to some of the greatest Manchester United legends like George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and David Beckham. Mr Fergie is rarely wrong in his choice for replacing players in his magical squad and we all hope that Nani will be the perfect match for the retirement of Ryan in some 2 years’ time.
I really think Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two wingers of the “calibre” of Ryan Giggs and Andrei Kanchelskis.
