About Wakish Wonderz

Wakish Wonderz was initially a name for my personal website on which i planned to put tutorials, free templates..etc. I designed the layout and graphics exactly the way i wanted it to be and i really loved the final result. But then i start pondering my little brain; “will my website sustain good traffic in the long run?”. Lets get back to my desires and aim.

As a matter of fact, i’m fond of the internet and i love creating online websites and communities. Perhaps this is due to my passion for art and creativity. In this respect, i took so much time designing just the layout of my so called personal website that i started diverting from my initial aim, that is to get a decent piece of work on the net. Since i like to rush doing things that i love doing, i finally landed with Gamerz Space - my first website online. Things went so quickly and the thought of having my treasured piece of work (the personal website in consideration) was haunting my mind. Then, i sat down thinking all that i wanted was to write things, firstly, to prevent myself from losing the fluent english that i used to have in my GP (General Paper class) some 3years back and secondly, to get online and share my thoughts, ideas and work with others. (Yeah, it’s already been 3years since i have not written a decent piece of english stuff. So this is becoming a serious case.) Being online seems to have given birth to a pivotal urge in me. Virtual life is becoming part and parcel of my everyday life. So, combining my inner desires and my will to be hooked on to this virtual prominent world of internet, i finally landed with this blog (or blogging?). But what happens to the nice layout i made? Well, this is still a question mark for me.. perhaps, it will be of use to me in its own time.

Now, why Wakish Wonderz? Wakish being my beloved virtual name and why - this is another story.. Wonderz because i’m always amazed by creativity and wonderful things, hence the word ‘wonder’. And to give it a bit of rhythme, i suffixed it with the letter ‘z’. I sincerely hope that i can indulged myself to such an extent where i can nurture and bring to you (the reader) things which will really make you say: ‘Wonderful’. So, wish me goodluck for my first dive in the ocean of blogging, will you? Thanks!

Well, my virtual name is wakish and i live in a paradise island named as Mauritius. I’m 23 years of age, single and i’m still a tertiary student. I’m currently doing a BSc Degree course in IT and hope to get my degree soon this year itself if everything goes on smoothly. I never had a liking for IT or computer stuffs. But i always loved doing pure mathematics and art. Oops, i forgot mentioning GP - english writing which involves taming a sound general knowledge and a critical analysis of almost any situation/theme. I came to love english writing simply through my teacher - he is a wonderful human being. I consider him as my english and life ‘Guru’. I have learned so many things from him. Weird taste combination you say? Well that’s me.. but with time i finally stepped in this vaste and ferocious dimension of IT and computer world. It has been a hard time for me initially, but then with time i find myself loving coding in C/C++ and getting my hands in designing webpages..etc. Now where does my future lie? well, i have an inner desire of being among the best in IT, i believe in myself and i hope to integrate a decent company abroad perhaps, who knows.. but i leave all that to Mr ‘time’.. heheh..
